<p>DOBBIN (Daly), Joan Ellen - Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 14, 2012, Joan Ellen Dobbin, aged 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Patrick Dobbin, and brothers: James and Gus Daly. Leaving tomourn, her children: Lynn (Bruce) Bourque, Keina Allan, Leah (Ken) Lawton, Patrick (Judi), James, Siobhan, Deirdre (Shane) Calder, Brian (Kaline); eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; also her sisters: Patsy (Bernard) Howlett and Rene (Cecil) Spencer; her sisters-in-law: Marie Daly, Maureen McCarthy, Marion (Walter) Tucker, Rita (Ed) Dodge, Margo (Bill) Stinson, Penny and Elizabeth Dobbin; her brothers-in-law: Basil (Jenna) Dobbin, Derm (Ethel) Dobbin, Barney (Lizabeth) Dobbin. Also leaving to mourn, close family friend Kay Woodford, faithful bridge partners Joan and Sandra; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to caregivers Sheila and Lori Ann. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St.Pius X Church on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Society.
